She shared, “It reminded me how I enjoyed my years at Ravenscroft, how much time has passed and that our 25th reunion will be here before we know it! I am currently with the City of Raleigh, celebrating five years in January. In recent years, I earned my national certification for planning (AICP), was promoted to Senior Planner and changed work groups. I have found a good work-life balance. I picked my racket back up and am playing a lot of tennis through USTA, the city, my mom and Joe. I took my first real vacation in 2023 to celebrate my 40th (a whole week off from work!) and got a taste of the travel bug. I took a week off to ski at Lake Tahoe and hit Salt Lake City in March. Also, finally working on a trip to Ireland.”
After more than 18 years of living in New York City, Kelsey Frohman Marks moved north to Rye, New York. Marks said her family “felt ready for some more green space and quiet. ... A job opportunity came up at St. Vincent’s Hospital, minutes away from home, that was too good to pass up. I also worked very hard with the LCAT (Licensed Creative Art Therapist) Coalition to try and pass an insurance inclusion bill in the state, even traveling to Albany to lobby. Sadly, Gov. Hochul did not sign at the last minute. Interesting to see how a bill goes into law but thankful for the experience. I will continue to advocate for improved mental health access in New York. Jaclyn White Morgan was the photographer of this fun family photo! Thank you, Jaclyn!”
