FACULTY AND STAFF

Former Facilities Department member Melissa Hogan passed away on May 2. She worked at Ravenscroft from 2011 to 2020. Her daughter, Tori ’18, is a Ravenscroft alum.

Longtime fine arts faculty Jack Budrow passed away on Sept. 4. The husband of Ravenscroft strings instructor Marilyn Budrow, who predeceased him, he served as an Artist in Residence for many years, retiring in 2011. The Budrows’ daughter, Kat Belk, was a teacher in the Upper School Math Department from 2002 to 2023.

Retired Upper School English teacher Marcia Scraper Jones passed away on Oct. 24. She taught at Ravenscroft for 38 years and was recognized with both the Helton Excellence Award (1999) and the Qubain Award for Teaching Excellence (2011). Jones is survived by her son, Ryan ’09, and his family.

Linda Isley, who taught science and math in the Upper School from 1970 until 1985, passed away on Nov. 18. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Jacinda Isley Purrington ’84 and Melissa Isley Grice ’86, and their families.
