The state-of-the-art system, installed in the Olander Center this spring, engages and connects users through photos, videos, trivia and polls that are focused on Ravens’ experiences.
In March 2023, Ravenscroft’s communications team, in partnership with Raleigh-based creative agency Relative Scale, rolled out a new digital platform to tell the Ravenscroft story — but this one comes with a twist: the content is composed entirely of images, videos and fun interactive elements, and the primary audience is Middle and Upper School students. As befits its purpose, the system — a 90”-diagonal touchscreen with an intuitive user interface — has been installed in a highly visible space just outside Warner Arena in the Olander Center for Student Life at the A.E. Finley Activity Center.
As the team prepares for a full-scale launch of the platform in the fall, get the story on what it does, how the team plans to keep content fresh and how student leaders in both divisions are stepping up with fun and engaging ideas to bring their fellow Ravens together and reinforce the bonds of the school community.
See how the new platform works, hear students’ reactions to its content and learn how it builds community in this video.
At top, Middle Schoolers Lucy Shaw ’29, Madison Young ’29, Hallie Tayrose ’29 and Emma Campbell ’29 explore content on the interactive touchscreen in the Olander Center.
