Annual Alumni Awards Celebrate Leadership, Athletic Achievement and Artistic Excellence

On Friday, April 17, the Olander Center for Student Life became a place of celebration and reflection as Ravenscroft hosted its annual Alumni Awards Ceremony during the school’s third Annual Alumni Weekend. The evening honored five exceptional individuals whose contributions to Ravenscroft and achievements beyond campus exemplify the very best of what it means to be a Raven.

Ned Gonet Class of 1862

This year’s honorees – Duke Finley '76, Ned Gonet, English Bernhardt '14, Chloe Mikles '16, and Calvin Atkeson '18 – represent the breadth and depth of excellence that defines the Ravenscroft experience, from the stage to the pool to the wrestling mat, and from the classroom to a lifetime of service.

Chloe Mikles Hall of Fame

The evening was more than an awards ceremony — it was a celebration of the enduring bonds that connect Ravens across generations and the remarkable paths alumni forge beyond Ravenscroft’s campus.

From Duke Finley’s generational commitment to the school, to Ned Gonet’s 45 years shaping student-athletes, to English Bernhardt’s Broadway success, Chloe Mikles’ dominance in the pool and now groundbreaking marine research, and Calvin Atkeson’s dual-sport dominance, each honoree embodies the values that define Ravenscroft — excellence, leadership, integrity, and dedication.

As alumni, families, faculty, and friends gathered to celebrate these five exceptional individuals, it was clear that the Ravenscroft experience prepares students for lives of meaning, achievement, and service.
