AP Scholar Awards Recognize 118 Ravens for Exam Success

The College Board has announced recipients of the AP Scholar Awards in recognition of achievement on Advanced Placement course exams given in the spring of 2021. In total, 118 Ravenscroft students earned this recognition: 68 students in the Class of 2021, 49 in the Class of 2022, and one in the Class of 2023. 

The College Board's Advanced Placement Program provides motivated and academically prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school. As a result of their successful performance on AP Exams, students earn college credit, advanced college placement or both.

Results include the following:

  • 42 AP Scholar Awards: Recognize students who completed three or more AP Exams with scores of 3 or higher

  • 22 AP Scholar with Honor Awards: Recognize students who earned an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four or more exams

  • 54 AP Scholar with Distinction Awards: Recognize students who earned an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams
