Ravenscroft senior Zoe Adams ’24 signed a National Letter of Intent on Nov. 11  to play basketball for the Barry University Buccaneers in Miami, Florida, next fall.

Zoe joined Ravenscroft as a junior in the fall of 2022 after playing at Holy Spirit Preparatory School in Atlanta, Georgia. At Holy Spirit, Zoe won the 2021-22 Team Offensive Player Award and was a 2021-22 Georgia State and Region Champion. She was named to the 2021-22 Georgia All-State and All-Region first teams.

In her first season as a Raven, she was the varsity girls basketball team’s Most Valuable Player and was selected to the NCISAA All-State and the All-Triangle Independent School Athletic Conference teams. It was during that season that she scored her 1,000th career point. She currently ranks third in Ravenscroft girls basketball history, averaging 17.8 points per game.

During the summer of 2023, she played with FBC United and was a 2023 UAA Championship team member.

Ravenscroft varsity girls basketball coach Tyson Nargassans said, “It has been a privilege coaching Zoe since she joined our program last year. She has a deep love of the game and a wealth of talent; her leadership is key to our success. We are so proud and excited to watch her continue her athletic career at Barry University.”

“I am grateful for the opportunity of continuing my basketball journey at the next level,” Zoe said. “I couldn’t have done it without the support of my amazing coaches, teammates and family. It truly takes a village, and I’m beyond excited for what this season and the next four years will bring.”
