Alix Charles, IT Specialist and Boys Varsity Soccer Coach

How long you have been at Ravenscroft?

I have coached at Ravenscroft for 10 years and worked in the IT Department for five.

What do you love about your job?

I love being able to help students resolve their technical issues. I also get a lot of satisfaction out of seeing players I have coached for years graduate and go on to play in college.

What is your favorite Ravenscroft moment?

I am really enjoying this soccer season and would say that it has been one of my favorite times here. We have had great players, great teams and other winning seasons before. However, there is something special about these boys, this team. Besides their drive to excel, their determination, their passion for the game, they play a brand of soccer which is seldom seen at the high school level. With all of their attributes, it's only fitting that we advanced to the State 4A finals. Getting there alone, further validates the overall success of the soccer program here at Ravenscroft. Really proud of this team, of what they have accomplished and this is definitely my favorite season here.

What is something people may not know about you?

I have four grandkids and love spending time with them.
