Ravenscroft faculty and staff gathered on Tuesday, June 2, to celebrate the close of another successful school year and to honor colleagues who made a meaningful impact across the community.

In keeping with tradition, the afternoon included the presentation of awards for excellence in teaching and service, as well as recognition of milestone anniversaries.

The Helton Excellence Award, given in recognition of excellence in teaching and outstanding service to the school, went to:

The Qubain Award for Teaching Excellence, which recognizes deserving teachers in all three school divisions, was given to:

• Colleen Girouard
• Jessica Ortolano
• Amanda Schreiner
• Meagan Stone

The O’Herron Distinguished Faculty Award, which recognizes teachers for their devotion to the teaching profession, was presented to Upper School economics teacher Lucy Liversidge.

The Parents’ Association Distinguished Faculty Award, which recognizes, encourages and rewards excellence in teaching, was given to Lower School first-grade teacher Tiffany Pellicciotti.

The Zoe Welsh Faculty & Staff Spirit Award, named in remembrance of Zoe Welsh, honors a member of the Ravenscroft community who most fully embodies the dedication, passion, and joyful spirit that Ms. Welsh brought to the school each day. The first Zoe Welsh Spirit Award was given to Director of Parent Engagement Sarah Baker.
