Ravenscroft senior Gia Giambruno’s photograph, Horse and Rider, has been selected by a panel of jurors for inclusion in the annual Triangle Family Magazine Student Art Showcase.

The showcase is a selective, juried publication that highlights the best young creative talent in the Triangle. Submissions of all art forms are accepted from elementary through high school students in public and private schools in the region.

Only 23 works are selected for the print edition, which will be presented as an eight-page spread in the magazine's May/June edition. It will also be included in the digital version. 

Giambruno’s work stood out to the jurors, who said, “The photographer did a fantastic job capturing a fleeting moment clearly. The sepia tone and vignette add beautiful warmth and cinematic quality to the image.”
