North Ridge Country Club was once again host to the Ravenscroft Golf Classic — the 28th such event hosted by the Ravenscroft Athletic Club — on Monday, Nov. 4.
The event saw 120 golfers, including 12 alumni, come out in support of the school’s athletics programs. After a chilly start to the morning, sunny skies made for a pleasant day of golf and the social time enjoyed by attendees before and after their time on the course.
On the Oaks course, first place was won by Matt Lyons, Carmen Kalorin, Ian Villanueva and Scott Lisson. On the Lakes course, first place went to the foursome of Head of School Derrick Willard, Athletic Director Ned Gonet, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer Jennifer Davis and Assistant Head of School for Institutional Advancement Ben Rein.
Congratulations also to the winners of the skills contests:
- Lakes:
- #18 Longest Drive: Clay Martin
- #3 Closest to the Pin: Chris Drummond
- Oaks:
- #2 Longest Drive: Tiffany Kutner
- #3 Closest to the Pin: Cushing Donelan
All of the funds raised at the event will go to enhance programmatic offerings for students in all three divisions as well as professional development for coaches.
