Ravenscroft Athletic Director Ned Gonet has announced the hiring of new head coaches for the winter track program and the varsity boys lacrosse program.

Brian Davis will serve as winter track head coach and comes to Ravenscroft with 14 years of coaching experience. Davis was an outstanding performer at Fuquay-Varina High School, where he posted impressive accomplishments in many events and was a three-time All-American. Davis holds a B.A. in English from N.C. State and was a sprinter for the Wolfpack. While at NCSU, Davis was a Collegiate All-American and school record holder. He most recently coached for the Carolina Allstars Track and Field Association.

Tim Tadder will serve as varsity boys lacrosse head coach and brings 10 years of coaching experience. Tadder is a graduate of William and Mary College where he played football and lacrosse. He received his master's degree from Ohio University and went on to coach international lacrosse in Australia. Tadder served as athletic director and coach at Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad, Calif. He most recently coached boys lacrosse at Pacific Ridge School, also in Carlsbad. Tadder is a current parent of two Ravens, Adelaide Tadder ’25 and Emerson Tadder ’24.

“I look forward to both these gentlemen and their staff taking over these programs as they will provide leadership, fundamentals, integrity, and a drive to compete as they lead their respective teams to experience success on and off the field and track,” said Gonet.
