Upper School English Instructor Marcia Jones has been selected as Ravenscroft's recipient of the World View Russia Study Visit for 2011.   

Jones, who is also the English Department Chair, will travel throughout Russia June 20-July 3, 2011. She will learn about Russia’s education system, the arts, and contemporary issues in development and energy. She also will explore significant cultural and historical sites and interact with Russian families and the business community.

Jones will be an excellent Ravenscroft representative and ambassador as she can enhance her classes and share the Russian culture with all three divisions upon her return. The experience will no doubt give her new perspective for both her classes and the greater Ravenscroft community.
