Eleven Ravenscroft students have been recognized in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program, a reflection of their outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test in their junior year.
Approximately 16,000 semifinalists across the country were named in the 66th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. These high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,600 National Merit Scholarships — worth more than $30 million — that will be offered next spring.

- Josh Youngbar '21
The National Merit Scholarship program also announced the names of the approximately 34,000 students across the country who achieved Commended Student status. Although these students will not continue in the 2021 competition for National Merit Scholarships, they placed among the top 50,000 of over 1.5 million in the 2021 competition.
