Ravenscroft Celebrates Generosity and Community Spirit

As we celebrate all we have to be thankful for this week, we want to note how exceptionally grateful we are for the generosity of this community.

From the fairways of the 29th Annual Ravenscroft Golf Classic to the record-breaking results of the 2025-26 Day of Giving, the collective efforts of our parents, alumni, faculty and staff have provided outstanding support for our students and the school this fall.

On Tuesday, Nov. 4, more than 150 registered golfers enjoyed a beautiful day at North Ridge Country Club. Alumni participation saw a significant increase over last year, reflecting the growing enthusiasm and support for this longstanding tradition.

“The 29th Annual Ravenscroft Golf Classic was once again a special day for our community,” said Athletic Director Ned Gonet. “This event brings together alumni, parents, coaches and friends in a fun, friendly, and competitive atmosphere. Thanks to our sponsors and all who participated, we were also able to raise funds that help strengthen our athletic program. It was an outstanding day for Ravenscroft.”

As parent Paul Shuey, who has several alumni daughters, added, “I love playing with good friends for a great cause. All my daughters attended school here, and we are always proud to support Ravenscroft.”

Soaring Past: An Incredible Day of Giving

Student Reading

Just two days later, the spirit of generosity continued to soar on Thursday, Nov. 6, for our annual Day of Giving.

We set a bold goal to reach 500 gifts in one day in support of the Fund For Ravenscroft — and the community responded with incredible enthusiasm. We are thrilled and grateful to report that we received more than 540 gifts — nearly 100 more than last year. This outpouring of support translated to raising more than $247,000 in a single day. Simply incredible!

These contributions to the Fund For Ravenscroft provide the necessary resources to drive innovative programs, support faculty excellence and enhance the daily experience for every student, from PreK through 12th grade. Every gift demonstrates a powerful commitment to the heart of Ravenscroft's mission.
