Ravenscroft Non-Varsity Winter Sports Wrap-Up

Ravenscroft’s Middle School and JV winter sports teams wrapped up a competitive season filled with growth, effort, and strong performances. From basketball to wrestling to swimming, these non-varsity programs demonstrated skill, teamwork, and dedication on the court and mat. This season also recognized student-athletes for their hard work and sportsmanship, celebrating individual achievements alongside team success.

JV Boys Basketball finished 15–2 overall, splitting the season series with North Raleigh Christian and earning a home victory in the matchup at Ravens FanFest.

Middle School Gold Boys Basketball finished 12–1 and averaged 40 points per game.

Middle School Green Boys Basketball won five of its final eight games, including a season sweep of Durham Academy and a season-ending win over NRCA.

Middle School Girls Gold Basketball finished 6–5 overall and 4–1 in conference play. The team scored 151 total points and averaged 13.7 points per game.

Middle School Girls Green Basketball finished 3–11 while showing steady improvement throughout the season. 

Middle School Wrestling posted a 6–7 overall record and placed sixth out of nine teams at the MAC-10 Conference Tournament.

Middle School Swimming
Middle school athletes competed on the combined seventh–12th–grade Ravenscroft swimming teams.

  • Girls Swimming: Eloise Pyle ’30 qualified for the State Championship in five events.
  • Boys Swimming: Dylan Fox ’30 qualified for the State Championship in five events and earned several individual wins during the regular season.
