During the 2025–26 winter varsity sports season, Ravenscroft’s winter sports teams achieved competitive results across multiple programs.

Varsity Wrestling

Wrestling won the 2026 Triangle Independent Schools Athletic Conference (TISAC) Championship, marking the program’s 12th conference title. The team placed wrestlers in 11 of 14 weight classes at the conference meet, with six finalists and four individual conference champions contributing to the overall title. Several athletes advanced to compete at the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA) State Championship and the team placed 10th in the state.

Boys and Girls Swimming

Both swim teams earned strong results during the season. Boys Swimming won the TISAC conference championship at the conference meet for the second year in a row. Senior Mattaus Rammel ’26 was named Most Outstanding Swimmer for the second consecutive year, winning multiple individual events, including the 100‑yard breaststroke and 200 IM, and setting meet records. Strong relay performances also contributed to the team’s championship. At the NCISAA state meet, the boys team placed third overall, highlighted by Rammel, who was the only athlete at the meet to win two individual events, and David Davis ’28, both contributing podium finishes for the team, earning NCISAA All-State Honors. The girls' team also had a successful season, finishing in the top 10 at state with strong individual and relay performances contributing to the team’s overall success.

Winter/Indoor Track & Field

Winter/Indoor Track & Field competed at both the TISITC (Triangle Independent Schools Indoor Track Conference) Meet and the State Meet. At the conference meet, both the boys’ and girls’ teams finished second overall, with individual and relay event wins, including a first-place finish by the girls’ 4×200 relay team of Madison Mickel ’30, Bentley Santacatarina ’30, Madison Young ’29, and Lily Meeks ’30, and a win by Robby Grant in the 55‑meter dash. At the state meet, Miles Hughey ’26 placed third in the 55-meter hurdles, Robby Grant ’26 finished third in the 300m and fourth in the 55m, and the girls’ 4×200 relay team of Madison Mickel ’30, Bentley Santacatarina ’30, Madison Young ’29, and Lily Meeks ’30 placed fifth.
