Spring 2026 Varsity Award Ceremony and Senior Athletic Honors

As the spring season and school year came to a close, Ravenscroft celebrated its varsity spring student-athletes during the Monday, May 18, Athletic Awards Banquet. The evening recognized the outstanding accomplishments, dedication and sportsmanship displayed throughout the spring 2026 season.

Several Ravens teams enjoyed successful postseason runs, including Boys Tennis, Boys Lacrosse, Softball, and Girls Lacrosse, all of which advanced to the North Carolina Independent School Athletics Association (NCISAA) State Playoffs. Boys Track and Field also delivered an exceptional performance at the state championship meet, earning an impressive fifth-place team finish.

A special highlight of the season came from Miles Hughey ’26, who captured the state championship in the 110-meter hurdles, adding another remarkable achievement to Ravenscroft athletics. 

In addition to the team and individual spring awards, several seniors were also recognized during the Upper School Honors Convocation on Thursday, May 21, for their outstanding athletic achievements and contributions to Ravenscroft athletics. The honorees are as follows:

The Athletic Achievement Awards honor the senior boy and senior girl who have demonstrated exceptional contributions to Ravenscroft Athletics through leadership, athletic performance, character and sportsmanship.
