Katie Dillinger Ellis ’06, Megan Dillinger Tuttle ’08 and Lauren Dillinger Knight ’10 had many experiences in common while also being encouraged to explore their own interests and discover their own passions.
As with many Ravenscroft families, the three Dillinger sisters — Katie Dillinger Ellis ’06, Megan Dillinger Tuttle ’08 and Lauren Dillinger Knight ’10 — attended school together and had many experiences in common while also being encouraged to explore their own interests and discover their own passions. We caught up with these Ravens to find out where those interests have led them and what they remember most about their years here.

Katie Dillinger Ellis ’06: After graduating from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2012, I completed two years of postgraduate training, specializing in pediatric pharmacy. Following residency, I spent three years as a neonatal/infant clinical pharmacist at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia before transitioning into academia as an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy in Clinton, South Carolina.
I currently work in the biotech industry as Global Medical Affairs Manager at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals. I met my husband, Tim, in pharmacy school, and we are fortunate enough to have two wonderful children — Holden (4) and Hannah (18 months). We live in the Greenville, South Carolina, area and enjoy exploring local hiking trails and cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks!
Megan Dillinger Tuttle ’08: After Ravenscroft, I graduated from Columbia University, where I studied sustainable development with a focus in environmental biology. I then went on to pursue a dual master’s degree from NC State and IAE Aix-Marseille Université in France. After finishing school, I went back to New York City and worked in procurement for Unilever, first in operations and then in buying.
What I loved most was working with suppliers to implement Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan, and I wanted to focus on sustainability full-time. I had the opportunity to do exactly that at Walmart, where I was responsible for defining what “sustainability” meant for the fresh grocery business for each market Walmart operated in. I worked with the Walmart merchants and with suppliers to define goals and build supply-chain programs for things like tuna, beef and wheat. In my current role at Open Farm, a private equity-backed pet food company, I am building the approach to climate, waste, transparency and animal welfare and building supply chains and teams to support.
Lauren Dillinger Knight ’10: Since graduating from Ravenscroft in 2010, I graduated from the University of South Carolina and earned a bachelor in business administration with a concentration in supply chain and a minor in Spanish in 2014. Upon graduating from South Carolina, I moved to Northern Virginia to work for Northrop Grumman as a member of their Professional Development Program, where I rotated between various roles in business management, including finance and contracts. I earned an MBA from William & Mary in 2019 while continuing to work full-time.
After graduating the program, I became a financial analyst supporting programs for building unmanned aerial vehicles, detecting cyber threats, and command and control systems for homeland defense. After a few years in Virginia, my husband, Alex, and I moved to Charlotte, and I began working for Red Hat in Global Business Finance. Currently, I support the Marketing Development Funds organization as the Controller and have really enjoyed being a Red Hatter; my team is supportive and thoughtful, and I’ve learned a great deal from them and Red Hat as a whole.
