In its nearly 55-year history, the Ravenscroft Athletics Department has produced scores of talented, passionate and disciplined student-athletes who leave behind legacies of impressive career statistics, new school records, and conference and state championships that make the entire school community proud. But the department is home to other legends as well: dedicated members of the Athletics staff whose impact on our students, families and programs is immeasurable.
Ravenscroft Athletics broadcaster Dave Nathan recently recognized three of those legends — Coach Chip Hoggard, Coach Greg Long, and football and basketball play-by-play announcer Tom Slater — whose decades-long tenures have helped define the Ravenscroft experience for student-athletes and sports fans alike. We are pleased to share those tributes here.
