The Ravenscroft Varsity Boys' Basketball Team delivered an impressive three-day performance to capture the John Jacobs Christmas Classic Tournament, earning three consecutive victories and sealing the championship with a decisive win on Tuesday, Dec. 30.

In early December, Ravenscroft students traveled to the Raleigh Convention Center to test their business acumen at the District 3 DECA Competition.

Since January, Ravenscroft Varsity Girls Golf Team members Grace Garney ‘26, Lily Garney ‘28, Violet Garney ‘28, Brianna Krafft ‘26, and Valerie Margraf ‘26 have dedicated one Saturday each month to share their love of golf with local youth in the First Tee program.

This fall, nine Ravenscroft Upper School students attended CAPSMUN (Capital Area Public Schools Model United Nations) at Broughton High School. In this Voices Piece, Model U.N. Club Advisor Daniel Munns and eight of the students reflect on the experience.

Ravenscroft 9th-grader Chatham Walsh has been named to the prestigious U.S. U-15 Girls' National Soccer Team. The team was announced Nov. 12, and will attend a training camp that begins Nov. 17. Walsh was one of two North Carolina Courage Academy players named to the 24-player roster.

The Ravenscroft community is proud to announce that five members of the Class of 2026 have officially committed to continue their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level. These student-athletes have demonstrated excellence in competition, leadership within their teams, and a commitment to the values that define Ravenscroft Athletics.

There was a palpable sense of excitement on campus throughout the first week of October, as Ravenscroft celebrated Homecoming 2025. The annual tradition was an opportunity for students, their families, faculty and staff members across each division to come together for a wide range of activities.
