Ravenscroft Athletics recognized six student-athletes during its Spring Signing Day on Wednesday, April 15. They will continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.

Ravenscroft senior Gia Giambruno’s photograph, Horse and Rider, has been selected by a panel of jurors for inclusion in the annual Triangle Family Magazine Student Art Showcase.

Creativity, teamwork, and quick thinking were on full display as our two Middle School teams stepped into the spotlight at the recent Odyssey of the Mind (OM™) tournament. Our students proved that Ravenscroft is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to imaginative problem-solving.

Brothers Azeem ’30 and Omar Khan ’27 reflect on their five-year journeys to earning black belts at Karate International, where their martial arts training became both a masterclass in character development and an opportunity to demonstrate Lead From Here competencies while achieving their shared goal.

Ravenscroft is proud to announce that two Middle School strings students have earned highly coveted seats in the Junior Eastern Regional Orchestra (JERO) following a rigorous audition process held on Saturday, March 7, at the Durham School of the Arts.

Ravenscroft winter sports celebrated a season of excellence: Wrestling placed 10th at state and won conference, Boys Swimming won conference and placed third at state, Girls Swimming finished top-10, indoor track earned podium finishes, basketball captured tournament wins, and athletes earned multiple awards.

Ravenscroft indoor track & field closed the season with strong showings at both the TISITC Conference and State Meets.

After countless hours of after-school and weekend practices, and the forced rescheduling of competition due to inclement weather, the Ravenscroft Techno Tigers Robotics Team was selected as one of only two teams from the qualifying tournament in Greenville, N.C. to advance to the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) State Championship in Greensboro, at N.C. A&T University.
