On April 26, following a three-year pandemic-related hiatus, Ravens of all ages and hundreds of volunteers reveled in the chance to make the day special for participants.
Offering a virtual trip around the world, the event showcased 26 countries and cultures represented in the school community.
The former board chair, noted for guiding Ravenscroft through the early months of COVID-19 and for early visioning of the student life center, was celebrated at the first Alumni Association meeting since 2019.
Some of the event’s most popular items were campus perks and opportunities for Ravens right here on campus, including Ravesncroft summer camps, parking spots, the “Name a Road at Ravenscroft” opportunity, and Head of School for a Day.
The cross-campus slate of events — a collaboration between teachers, students and parent volunteers — included music and dance, food, crafts and cultural exploration.
With experience at different kinds of colleges and universities, the panelists shared details about their college search and offered advice on course schedules, roommates, time management and majors.
Two new trustees — parent Geoff Krouse and alum Shawn Morrison ’94 — have joined the board, which drives policy and leads visioning for the institution.
Thank you to our parent-led organizations and the parents, guardians and grandparents whose gifts of time and talent helped make Ravenscroft an even stronger community in 2021-22.
