Building on the success of last year’s event, the single-day fundraiser was based on a simple premise: participation is key. 

The four-week summer residential program for gifted and talented high school students integrates academic disciplines, the arts and unique courses on each of the two college campuses that host it. 

Alumni siblings — champions at Ravenscroft who have gone on to play in college and beyond — explore the competition, experiences and growth that came from playing the same sport.

Hear from Kathleen Brandes ’15, co-founder of Adagy Robotics; Mateo Schiemann ’15, a process engineer at Toblerone; and Austin Morin ’15, an AI and sustainability consultant.

The competition is open to all Ravenscroft students, who compete in one of two divisions: Division I students are in ninth through 12th grades, and Division II students are eighth grade or below. 

The program, which started with 12 students learning piano in the bell tower of the Tucker Street school, is today a pillar of instruction in the department, serving nearly 200 students each year.

A state championship, four TISAC championships and many recognitions for individual athletes brought excitement to the events.

Proceeds will support the Parents’ Association’s mission of building community and school spirit and an annual gift that benefits students, faculty and staff.
