Ravenscroft winter sports celebrated a season of excellence: Wrestling placed 10th at state and won conference, Boys Swimming won conference and placed third at state, Girls Swimming finished top-10, indoor track earned podium finishes, basketball captured tournament wins, and athletes earned multiple awards.

Ravenscroft indoor track & field closed the season with strong showings at both the TISITC Conference and State Meets.

Ravenscroft’s Middle School and JV winter sports teams wrapped up a competitive season filled with growth, effort, and strong performances. From basketball to wrestling to swimming, these non-varsity programs demonstrated skill, teamwork, and dedication on the court and mat.

The Boys' and Girls' Swim Teams delivered exceptional performances at the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA) Division I State Championship held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center on Monday, Feb. 9, with both teams placing in the top 10 in the state.

Ravens wrestling won its 12th TISAC Conference Championship on Thursday, Feb. 5, at North Raleigh Christian Academy, placing 11 wrestlers on the podium. The team will compete next at the State Championship on February 13–14 at Charlotte Latin School.

Two members of the class of 2026 formally committed to play collegiate football on Tuesday, Feb. 4. Grandison Howard ’26 and Miles Hughey ’26 celebrated the milestone at a ceremony in Warner Arena.

The Ravens delivered a standout performance at the TISAC Championship Meet – the boys captured the overall title and the girls delivered a solid fourth-place overall finish. 

The North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA) joins Ravenscroft School in celebrating longtime Athletic Director and legendary coach Ned Gonet, who has been named to the NCISAA Hall of Fame, Class of 2026.
