The school community gathered on Tuesday, April 8, to honor the spring season. Students of numerous faith traditions reflected on their most holy days and spring celebrations.

Students learned about countries in Africa through stories, photos and reflections from four parents who have lived or traveled there — a “very powerful” extension of classroom learning.

Faculty, staff and students in all three divisions enjoyed traditional Chinese games and crafts, foods and a thrilling dragon parade to mark the Lunar New Year on Jan. 29.

The space — a gift from Mike and Helen Norona — supports holistic efforts to help Ravens prioritize wellness amid their busy lives.

The team, comprising outstanding educators from peer schools, spent two days on campus exploring what the division has to offer and how its numerous stakeholders feel about their experiences.

Ravenscroft hosted the Asian American Alliance Conference on Friday, Jan. 10, drawing students and faculty from Saint Mary’s, Durham Academy and Cary Academy.

The assembly on Dec. 11 brought all three divisions together in Warner Arena to celebrate the season and learn about holidays observed by Ravens of several faith traditions at this time of year.
