One of the most selective merit-based summer programs for academics and arts in the country, Governor’s School offers intensives in the arts, sciences and humanities.
The competition features performances of strings, voice, piano, marimba, brass and woodwind that are judged by accomplished musicians and adjudicators in the area.
Inspired by early American folk potters — and a few Ravenscroft art teachers — she produces whimsical work at the Ozark Folk Center State Park in Arkansas.
The students will compete across a range of categories, reflecting the scope of performing arts areas offered at Ravenscroft.
